Sharon qualified as a Social Worker in the mid-eighties, She worked in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Hackney and qualified as a Systemic and Family Psychotherapist at Kensington Consultation Centre (KCC) in 1993.

Sharon taught systemic theory and practice on the foundation year course at the Tavistock & Portman NHS Trust for 13 years and the intermediate year at the Institute of Family Therapy (IFT) for 9 years.

Until recently she was clinical supervisor on the Tavistock MSc course and continues to be a research supervisor for students on the IFT MSc course.

Sharon founded Chiron Consultation & Therapy Services in 1997. Chiron Training was established in 2011. Her working week is divided between training supervising, being a consultant and offering therapy to individuals, families and couples.
